Taking a Breather

drysdale bjj jacare souza

This post has nothing to do with Robert Drysdale or Jacare Souza. But I figured adding that photo from the 2008 BJJ No-Gi Mundials, where they were there watching the BJJ competition was more visually interesting than leaving it empty.

Anyhow, I wanted to just post a quick note for every one letting the Mighty 600,000 know that I am out of town all this week. I will not only be away from training jiu-jitsu, but I will be away from voicemail and the internet. So you guessed it: I am in serious withdrawal as you read this.

Assuming I survive being away from the mats and my computer for so long, we’ll be able to answer your emails, approve comments left here on the blog, and otherwise get back in the routine soon.

In the meantime, you have homework, Family!

Talk to you soon!

  1. Hey Caleb, Firstly I want to say that I totally love the fightworks podcast! My life has been changed after listening to some of the awsome episodes you’ve produced! Just one small criticism – please please quit the space filling non-sensical stuff between you and Dan! There seem to be times where you are trying to fill space with dialogue that just isn’t captivating in my (humble) opinion!!

On another note – How about giving some information about the BJJ scene in random parts of the world!? I train in Saudi Arabia! BJJ is illegal there! You could interview our instructor for a bit of background about the underground nature of the club!

Anyway, keep up the good work.
