My next project.
I think we do an alright job of making The FightWorks Podcast pretty easy to find and listen to. But we know there is always room for improvement, and
The FightWorks Podcast team of MIT-trained communications infrastructure specialists I figured out another way to make it easy to listen to our shows.
But let’s review where we came from first. Until yesterday, here were the ways you could find our show:
- iTunes – the great thing about subscribing to our show in iTunes is that iTunes will check our site on a regular basis and automatically download our newest episode to your computer. If you’ve got an iPod or iPhone, it can also make sure that you can take the number one Brazilian jiu-jitsu internet radio show with you wherever you go!
- in Posts here – Yep, every Sunday when we release a new show there will be a little link that says mp3. You can always click that link and your browser will begin playing the newest episode.
Now we’ve made another way to listen to great interviews from the biggest names in BJJ. If you are reading this on our website (as opposed to reading this in a feed reader that is subscribed to our RSS feed or by email subscription) you have probably already noticed that we have a brand spanking new Flash player embedded on our site!
“Why do I care about this ‘Flash Player’, Caleb?” you ask? Well because now you can scroll through a ton of our older episodes without leaving the site’s homepage and simply click to listen to them.
It is pretty sweet and something I should have done a long time ago. Honestly I did try installing a mini Flash player that would appear inside posts that contained new episodes but at the time I was not as smart as I am today 😉 and I think this incarnation with multiple episodes all located in one spot may be more useful anyhow.
As I said above though, I do know there’s always room for improvement. If you have any suggestions on ways to make The FightWorks Podcast an even better show, ways to make the site better, or if you just want to let me know what’s going on in your neck of the woods, shoot me a note at c a l e b *at* the fightworks podcast *dot* com!
