BJJ Poll: When Do You Prefer to Train?

The well was dry when I was trying to come up with a good Brazilian jiu-jitsu poll for this week, so I turned to twitter and asked if anyone had any good ideas. Many thanks to gerry g, who suggested this idea for a poll:

Excellent question! In the past, we’ve asked about what times of day folks’ academies allow them to train but we didn’t follow up with a poll about when people actually like to train.

You may want to ask a question or two about Nutrition. How much Protein, BCAA’s, Beta-Alanine, ……. Joint supplements …… when they take it, how much they take ……. before rollin’ …… after rollin’ ……….. if it works. Their age, and if they take nothing at all.

I ticked the ‘afternoon’ option (when did 11am become the afternoon?). BUt to be honest I’ve never tried a morning training session. I think if it was just rolling and drilling without instruction (too early for thinking!) then that would be cool. What a great way to start your day, doing something that you love!

At my age, it’s much better to have the entire day to let my body loosen up. For that reason, I chose the evening option.
