  1. I would like to be stronger but in specific ways. I’m already the biggest guy in my club (also fattest) but I want to increase my strength in my core and hips to improve my abilities off my back. Being able to move my bulk more easily and quickly would be an exceptional asset for guard and especially sweeps.

  2. My current work schedule limits the classes I can attend and usually leaves me too tired to attend the other ones. This makes it difficult to improve my cardio or technical skills, however, I have no excuse for my flexibility to improve. I decided that instead of dwelling on not being able to attend night classes, and only being able to attend morining classes if I am willing to go on 4 hours of sleep, I would use this time to improve my flexibility.
