I wonder what kind of changes you were talking about? Whatever they are they must be working well because you ended-up as a non smoker. I am happy for you.
Out of all the people we have only one smoker among our members and I really want to push him to his limits.</description>

		<description>I smoked for about 12 years and smoked for the first 2 years doing jiu jitsu. I stopped smoking because the academy was going to was making some new changes to the structure of school. I knew at that moment I had to stop or the cigarettes would get the better of me because of the new changes of the academy. I&#039;m happy that I stoppped smoking, it has had huge difference in my jiu jitsu.</description>

		<description>I actually quit smoking about 6 months before I began jiu-jitsu.  I had had a couple of attempts at this previously over the 15 years leading up to training. After starting jiu-jitsu though, I clearly had the motivation not to pick back up and start again. My lungs will never be what they would have been if I had never smoked, but there is no way I could sustain 3-4 days per week of training if I did still smoke.</description>
