Yes, this weekend is Valentine’s Day, and many of us -ahem- will be out and about for an evening because we’re required to demonstrate how much we love our girlfriends. Which we do of course, but I’m just sayin’…

If you won’t be at home on Friday evening, make sure you set your DVRs to record Fight Quest on the Discovery Channel. This is when the series travels to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for its examination of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Fellow black belts at Gracie Humaita Breno Sivak and Renato Barreto will assist in explaining BJJ to the uninitiated.

For those who have not made the pilgrimage to Rio to train yet, it should be a great look inside the birthplace of Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

For MMA fans out there, SHOWTIME will be showing EliteXC: Kimbo vs. Tank Abbott on Saturday at 10 PM EST.
