#64 Pablo Popovitch and Evan Shoman Interviews
April 22, 2007
Having just returned from an overtime victory in Las Vegas over six-time BJJ world champion Saulo Ribeiro, we interview the Brazilian grappler Pablo Popovitch, who has been instructing Brazilian jiu-jitsu in Florida for over ten years now. Pablo discusses his prior experience in the biannual Abu Dhabi Combat Club submission grappling championship and his preparation for the upcoming 2007 ADCCs in New Jersey on the weekend of May 4th.

We’ll also catch up with Evan Shoman of Shoman Art. Chances are if you’ve hung out on any of the larger MMA websites over the last couple of years, you’ve seen Evan’s near-photographic quality portraits of the biggest mixed martial arts fighters out there including Chuck Liddell, Dan Henderson, Rich Franklin, and tons of others. Having one’s portrait done by Evan has become a status symbol for MMA fighters!
