IFL Championships on FSN today

by Caleb on December 31, 2006

For those who couldn’t be there live, the International Fight League’s World Team Championships will be broadcast today on FSN. That’s right, if you have the average cable package you can watch the fights just by tuning in. To date, the IFL has steered clear of the pay-per-view model of showing fights on television. So here you are, the schedule for the show today:

FSN Arizona, 8:30 p.m. MT-Ariz
FSN Bay Area, 9:30 p.m. PT
FSN Midwest, 9 p.m. CT
FSN New England, 9 p.m. ET
FSN New York, 9 p.m. ET
FSN Northwest, 5 p.m. PT
FSN Southwest, 8 p.m. CT
FSN West, 10 p.m. PT
Comcast Chicago, 11 p.m. CT
FSN Rocky Mountain, 8 p.m. MT

Here, Chris Wilson (blue) fights Rory Markham (yellow) during the International Fight League World Team Championship Final at the Mohegan Sun Arena on December 29, 2006 in Uncasville, Connecticut.

The IFL looks to be in a great spot moving in to 2007. Having come a long way from the original line up of four teams and taken the company public, we expect that they will be a strong option for great MMA entertainment in the new year.
