Not many personalities in the realm of martial arts and combat sports can say they have been involved in the highest levels of competition in submission grappling, judo, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu at a global level. Rhadi Ferguson has competed in the Abu Dhabi Combat Club for submission grappling, the Mundials of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and judo in the 2004 Olympics! Today Rhadi takes advantage of this elite experience and a Ph.D. in education to train fighters from Pride and UFC, among other organizations. In this interview Rhadi discusses how to prepare to win from the physical, to the mental, to what’s in your heart.
